Y'all, I'm so excited to be performing in Chicago. I've worked very hard to stop dimming my light when it comes to my talents and gifts. I've always been “ahead of my time”. Instead of embracing this fact, I would only give about 60 percent of my efforts as to not intimidate those around me. I didn't want people to think I was “all that”. But playing small never helped anyone; especially the person doing it. This is the era of “Let your light shine!” It's far too dark in the world to hide ANY light that we possess. This world needs as much light as possible. Thank you Allah for walking with me on this journey of glorifying YOU. It's not about me. If I were to focus on you I will be ok.
